    Upper Cervical Chiropractor

To anyone who can answer. Have you ever tried and Upper Cervical Chiroprator?

I have scolliosis, bad curvature of the spine. I have found recently in the past two years this type of chiropractor has helped my body feel better. All he does is push down just behind the ear. In laymen's terms, he puts the nerves that run through the center of the neck back within alignment. Sounds crazy, but I have seen it work.

Looking to hear if anyone has had this in the UK, anywhere other then the US.

    Thank you
    Rose

    Hi Rose,

I live in the USA and have never heard of this before. What all is it good for if you don't mind me asking?

    Hi Bel,
Upper Cevical is different from a regular Chiropractor, being he works strickly with the nerves that go into the cuff the head sits on. My guy says the body reacts to gravity and being the head is the heaviest if it is in alingment, the rest of the body will be out of pain or tension of anykind. It's very interesting. I ran across this website which explains what it is. http://www.upper-cervical.com/
I guess if we do yoga or Ti Chi or any other body balance exercise I'm sure it helps the inner orangs work correctly and not break down with age. All I know I see young people waiting in the doctors office with sports injuries. I don't have health insurance because no insurance company will insure me, so I have decided to see do this kind of medicine to keep my body in alignment. I have scoliosis bad and aging is not helping it, gravity is pulling the body down, as it does in all other elderly people.

    Hope this help a little.
    Rose
