Anyone get diagnosis for upper left quadrant pain?

I have had upper left stomach pain mostly just under rib,
But also goes down left hand side of stomach.
This pain is mirrored in the back.
Sometimes it will go across to the same point on the right hand side.
Had since March never goes away but just up or down in strength,
From maybe an 8 down to a 1.
Had blood test and enderscope and first a ct scan
When it was really mild. All clear!!
Having another ct scan in couple of weeks with empty guts
& air pumped into Colon.

This as been worrying me to death I do suffer a bit
From anxiety.
As anybody the same symptoms that's had all clear
Tests, but had some sort of diagnosis like ibs or just down
To anxiety?

Been suffering the same symptoms, had every test since xmas..... only found mild gastritis.

Interesting they are opting for another ct over a colonoscopy.

I have been treated for acid reflux for the past four years.
BTW. So with you it's good they have not found anything in a way. Will keep you updated.
My first scan was of my bladder but they said they do the full stomach and it
Would have shown anything up in pancreas . But I'm still very worried can't sleep
Some nights.

Getting similar, mines is more central with back ache aswell, I've had bloods and ultrasound. As 'll clear however I'm worried sick....have some slight weight loss as also...hope you get it sorted soon

I suffer all the same and have done for years I've had EVERY TEST under the sin always all come back clear and doc says IBS. I no up under left rib down is a trouble spot for IBS on the bends that's where I suffer the most and also pressure/tenderness near left hip and above pubic area its horrible suffering like this and docs can't find anything there so nothing can be given to treat it :(

So I've had scan today, on inflating my colon my stomach was in agony, I told the nurse and
She said there will be discomfort. I said no it's really painful! They scanned me on my back&
Front. When done I was allowed to the toilet to try and release the air.
Only a little came out and I was still in pain. When the nurse came in to take my drip thingy out ( don't know how to spell it) I told her and she told the guy who did the scan.
He came in a little worried and said I should be ok soon and to sit down for 5-10mins and if
Not gone to call him back, within 5mins he was back with a doctor!!
He explained everything should settle and if still bad walk through to A&E lol.
Anyway it subsided a lot and I just left the hospital.
Now I have still have discomfort and my stomach is going crazy never heard such loud
Rumbles sounds like a thunder storm.
Now I'm wondering why the pain was so bad? And most of the pain was in the lower right
Not normally where I get the pain.
These stomach pains are we all get are really weird.
Just wish we had a restore button. Anyway will have to wait for results now:(

Am sure its just sore as the expanded ur bowels etc with air :(

I went walk in today because am having bad squeezing / burning feeling below ribs in center just to left the pain / tightness has been awful after the doc examined me etc said she can't feel anything like lumps etc... And saud justIBS spasms :( an take mebervine and my acid tablets regular :( but the neg thinkong always thinks worse tonight iI feel like ive been doing sit ups just so tight xx

Ok still no word from the hospital, so I rang them up. Next appointment will most likely be end of October . When i said I wanted to know scan results she said that she can't tell me but if there was anything bad, they would be seeing me a lot sooner. So good news but still no answer to these mad pains.

I've had the same pain as you describe in the upper left quadrant and ended up having a colonoscopy. The pain afterwards was worse than the procedure itself and I was farting like mad for hours!...but after a while once the air escaped it settled down. I found out that my bowel was clear and guess what?....the pain I had intially went away. Was it anxiety or muscular?...probably both but it wasn't anything nasty thats for sure.

So are you ok now taffy? This site as helped me alot, while waking up in the middle of the night with terrible pains, not wanting to wake the mrs but been in a total state! thinking I have cancer. Looked through the forum again and matched mine symptoms with others then been able to calm down and get back to sleep.
