dark discharge - clear smear - confused!

    Hi ladies.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this ... I saw a sexual health consultant a few weeks back as I'd had some bleeding after sex.
She did a smear which came back normal and a vaginal exam which she said looked fine - she said if the smear comes back normal then we'll just leave it.
Since then I've had some really dark brown discharge - I took my pill back-to-back so I would be period-free for the smear and have just finished my period so these could explain the discharge before and after but I'm so freaked out.

I also had a pelvic ultrasound in July which was normal so clearly there's no huge tumour but I'm so worried and stressed - just wanted some reassurance/advice.

I've had the dark brown discharge too, also had the bleeding after sex! I had a smear and an exam and all was ok. Doc then told me to NOT run two packs together as this throws the hormone levels out which can of course cause spotting.

So now im under instructions to not run packs together and get my body back into a normal natural cycle.

See I've never had the spotting until I did that so I'm guessing I've messed up my hormones and cycles too!!

You can do it!! I'm desperately trying to stop myself 'moving on' to another disease atm.
Are you getting any help with your anxiety? xxx

The moving on is funny isn't it? I can feel myself shifting to another illness and I know it's silly but argh it just happens!

My doc is researching counsellors for me to help with anxiety, I'm very wary of them due to events in childhood so finding the right one is a challenge!
