I take 600 mg per day just before bedtime as my anxiety issues tend to be early in the morning.

I've been taking pregabalin about four years now.

Finally been prescribed Pregablin after two years of facial tingling/pain which caused anxiety issues...jury's out as to wether the anxiety causes the facial symptoms but there you go Fingers crossed for me that this might be the first step in feeling normal again

I had facial tingling on one side for several months. No cause was found, but I think it may have been pressure on a nerve from an extruded root canal filling. Eventually it went away (I also had more endo work done on the tooth at considerable expense).

But good luck with pregabalin - it is effective for certain kinds of nerve pain and for generalised anxiety, so it may help on two fronts.

Took first one last night and had to sleep on the sofa with the tv on because I always start panicking on new meds, but slept well in the end. Feel rather woozy and a bit sick this morning, but the tingling and pain has improved already! Whether it's psychological or actual we shall no doubt see but if I've actually found something that really works I will be over the moon, and I'm sure the side effects will wear off....happy Fishlash today
