Could be something as simple as you poked yourself in the eye while you were sleeping.
Bruises often pop up and we don't always remember what happened. I remember when I would freak out for every bruise I saw and that just made them more common! Try not to worry about it

I found one on back of my hand yesterday and no idea how it got there either.
