Does anyone get this weird throat flutter/cold throat sensation.
I could swear it's my heart skipping beats but when I actually feel my pulse it's not!? What on earth is this feeling?

Yeah, throat flutters are common. Some are the heart but, by using a heart monitor, I now know for sure that there are lots of throat sensations which aren't the heart.
See a doctor if it bothers you.
Yeah I thought some were heart related and some weren't!
I just want to know the reason for the ones which aren't heart related??
How and why does it happen??
Muscles can become irritated and twitch and spasm. There are muscles in the throat which help you swallow, so it has to be those are irritated.
I've been having this for just over a week now, pretty much constantly. :(
Like you, my pulse feels totally normal! Not only that but I had a short heart trace (ECG) at A&E, with these weird twitches going on as it was being done and the nurse said my results were "fine" and she was "happy for me to go home."
I feel so frustrated and scared because it feels so much like palpitations and mine seems to be all day every day just now :(
I've felt these many a time.
These are just spasms in the muscle of the neck near to the jugular. Stick your fingers directly onto your jugular vein the absolute second you start getting those sensations. If you feel a steady pulse underneath the twitching, it's nothing to do with your heart at all. It's just a muscle twitching.
