    changing symptoms of panic attack

    Hi all

I'm sure my symptoms during panic attack have changed.

Today a sudden bout of nausea bought on a huge panic attack (I am emetophobia), but I feel like my throat is swollen and I will be sick. These aren't normal symptoms for me, I almost feel like my glands are swollen, it's very irritating.

The main panic attack subsided, I am just riding the fallout anxiety now.

Any personal accounts of changed symptoms welcome

Yes, this does happen. When you get used to the Anxiety Symptoms and let them pass over you or you just get used to them that they become as familiar as sleeping and eating. BANG! Along comes some new ones in the mix. You start thinking; "What's that? Haven't had that before. I must have something wrong with me, this isn't Anxiety!" But, it is. It is a very clever Demon that likes to trick us. Just treat it like the other symptoms and it will disappear with it's tail between it's legs!

As the others have said - it's a new facet of your anxiety. I tend to go in cycles, it's very 'fun'! ........

Wow, finally hearing people confirm what I was suspicious of with my anxiety. Feels good to know I'm not alone. Thanks.

(Now what are you going to counter this feeling of relief with, anxiety?)
