How to edit thread title/subject?

How to edit thread title/subject?
I would like to change it since my thread content has changed.
In edit mode, I edited what was written in the 'title' box, but it had no effect on the title/subject on the main thread category
page.

Click on "thread tools" then "edit thread"

If you already did that then go to the forum where your post is and click on the space next to the thread title (to the right of it) and it will let you edit it from there as well.

You may have to click a few times before you get it

Sorry Nicola, I don`t have 'edit thread' in my 'thread tools' drop down menu.

Tried this as well. Can select but can`t edit.

Thank you Nicola. If the drug one day comes to the UK, my post will be at least searchable by brand as well as generic name.

Edit - woops..I see you`ve done it before I got the generic (vilazodone) into the title.
