Feeling really down lately, I think my depression is coming back 😢

Hi everyone, this past few days I've been feeling really down and been in tears last night and this morning :'( finding it hard to get to sleep. I was on anti depressants a while ago but I took myself of them and now I think my depression coming back feel so alone right now. There is never anyone to talk to when you need them is there :'( ��

Hiya! Well, we are all here for you! Some of us have been talking about the onset of our worst anxiety and depression at this time of year. Think back, how were you last fall? Even if you don't have seasonal affective disorder, is it possible you may still need to be on a maintenance dose of an antidepressant? It might be best to nip this in the bud before winter sets in.

You don't need to talk about meds, feel free to talk about what you want. Some tips so far: make it a point to get out to something most days, and at least once a week, to something that you know makes you feel better. (NOT pub night!) Open the blinds, put on the kettle as soon as you get up! Turn on some music or the tv. Put brighter bulbs in your lights, and turn them all on as soon as you get up. Or buy a lightbox!
