Fluoxetine issues with body heat and skin

Hi All

It has been very helpful reading the posts on this website.

I have been taking Fluoxetine for two and a half weeks now. I realise it is early days still. I am however having some issues getting used to the medicine.

One of the main problems I am having is overheating, with my skin prickling, especially at night. This keeps me awake, I am only get a couple of hours sleep each night.

Has anyone else suffered this and will it ease?

Do you mean night sweats? Insomnia is very common but should start to ease soon. Usually goes by end of 4th week. Good luck and stick with it

Yes, I've been on prozac for 3 months now and the one side effect I still have is night sweats. I've just gotten used to it.
