Anyone else?

Taken propranolol 40mg a day for last few days and had severe headache and nausea. Anyone else had these side effects? I feel so physically ill on them I dare not take any more!

Try less (20mg) first. If even the smaller dosage is causing headache, then talk to your GP about it. He may give you the long acting version which releases much smaller amounts of the active substance in your body over a 24 hour period (say 5mg each hour, not whole 40mg within 2 hrs).
