Cannot connect to server?

I had problems too with the update to Java 8

The way I got round it for now is uninstall JAVA

Then install the version at the link here

Java 7.

Your PC will moan telling you to update but just click RUN when you open the chat room and it will (should) work.

The chat room is really quiet.... it is this problem we are having coupled with lots of people now using tablets. :(

don't worry pokiemonster you are not all by your lonesome in that dark alley, there are quite a few who are there with you there trying to get into chat..... sorry :(

I can get in but have not yet updated to the latest java.
