    Dove Over The Rainbow

I am writing to let you know that I have begun a help line that operates at night to assist anxiety sufferers.
My organisation is called Dove Over The Rainbow and my name is Rebecca.
I operate on Monday and Tuesday nights from 10pm to 10am and I wish to help even those who may be in the midst of a panic attack when they ring.
I have over 20 years experience of panic and anxiety related disorders such as phobias, OCD as well as the soul destroying agoraphobia.
My aim when people ring is to listen, support and reassure.
My website has further details; www.doveovertherainbow.co.uk
The help line number is 08450 170 815
I would very much appreciate a link on your site and I would be pleased to place you on mine.
I hope to hear from you soon.
    Regards
    Rebecca

    Welcome Rebecca,

What a great site and an interesting profile. You've not had it easy have you?!

Hope to read more posts from you and share some experiences. I'll definitely add your site to my favourites and visit regularly.

    Happiness and light to you,
    'Chopper'

I saw her once, one little while, and then no more:
’Twas Eden’s light on Earth a while, and then no more.
Amid the throng she passed along the meadow-floor:
    Spring seemed to smile on Earth awhile, and then no more;
But whence she came, which way she went, what garb she wore
I noted not; I gazed a while, and then no more!

Good luck with it - it is a very special service that you are offering.

    Good luck with it.

Do you have any plans to do more nights atall?

I hope to be able to do more nights soon, but at the moment I am on my own so can only do two nights, at least to begin with.
I am hoping to get some more volunteers on board.
    Best wishes

    Rebecca,

This is a fabulous project you are undertaking.

When I have been in desparate need at night, I have had to resort to The Samaritans or NHS Direct. Fortunately, I am less in need now, but I know that many others will benefit.

Take Care of yourself, and I hope you are able to be joined by volunteers soon so you can expand the service. Do you have any specific counselling training?

    Cheers,

    Ray

I do have a certificate in counselling but I am seeking out counselling courses in my area to extend my expertise.
    Many thanks
