Re: A pretty comprehensive list of anxiety symptoms

Would it sound weird for me to say I reckon I have suffered with everyone of those symptoms at some point.
Thanks for posting it, never hurts to be reminded what anxiety can do.

    Definitely not weird.

I think I've suffered with a heck of a lot of them too.

    Likewise Almamatters.
It's quite shocking when you see them all listed like that. When I was at the height of my Anxiety. I made a list and crossed them out as I got over some of them to give me a feeling of beating the illness. Although they do still reappear occasionally, I feel like I am more in control now.
Unless you have suffered from Anxiety, people do not really understand how bad it is. It is like having every illness all in one and an impending feeling of doom.

Cleverlittleviper, such a good idea to do this. It will be really helpful to us all.

I found your articles really helpful Nicola when I first joined NMP. I thought I was going mad and when I discovered this Site and read your articles, it was like a huge weight had been lifted from me, because you really do think you have gone Mad!!!

Yes, same here. I read the articles a couple of years before I finally joined and they really helped me understand a lot of the things I couldn't when I first when through anxiety and relied solely on my GP. When I relapsed I started looking for people who had been through it and quickly found this place so starting reading some relevant threads off and on from there after all the articles.
