borderline smear test

Hi I had a smear test and got the results today it says borderline result they tested for hpv as well but for some reason they couldn't repot my test results has anyone had this before I am worried have to go for another test in 6 months, never had a borderline result before so I am worried any advice would be great thanks.

Not sure what a borderline pap test is--I think the terminology is different in Canada. I know many women have had to go back for another pap test in 6 months (myself included) because sometimes our cells look a little wonky and tend to correct themselves overtime. Sounds like that's what your test showed.

I would totally agree with canbud ,if it was anything to worry about they wouldn't make you wait 6 months,I had problems I was seen straight away and had biopsies really don't worry love xx

Please don't worry it just means there borderline meaning slight changes which normally resolve bk to normal themselves which is why there testing u again in few months as it usually goes bk to normal all on its own x
