Is there anyone who can tell me why gerd & or hiatal hernia can cause back discomfort? I need to know & as usual cannot get clear answers out if my dr. I really need some info on this as soon as possible. Thank You!

Yes they can cause pain under breast bone and between shoulders. I was diagnosed via endoscopy in June after months of pain. If I stick to my ppis I am fine?x
