Is this too chronic for IBS?

Hi all,
I am just wondering about my symptoms and if anyone with IBS can relate.

Most Dr's say I have IBS but they have never tested me for anything else.
I'm getting stool tests done now for blood and parasites.

3 weeks ago I started getting constipation - then it disappeared and suddenly I have diarrhea!

I have had diarrhea now for almost 2 weeks!
It's not completely runny but soft - you know the drill.... and it smells pretty bad as well (sorry tmi)

I need to go first thing in the morning and it's runny and then for the rest of the day I feel fine....

I can't figure out what on earth it is or if IBS is this bad?
I get stomach cramps and gas but not as much as I did with constipation.

Today I even had diarrhea and a hard stool all mixed into one - I know as I had to scoop it out for my stool test!
TMI!?? sorry.....

anyone suffer the same with IBS like this?

Anyone? I know I posted this in another forum but I"m now in the right one for some input? Love to hear from you.

It does sound like IBS but a doctor can only diagnose ibs by ruling out any other problems. I guess your doctor has started with the stool tests so I would wait until you get the results of those then take it from there.
