Thread: Is it panic or something else?

Is it panic or something else?

Have noticed a symptom that I have not had before. Usually in state of anxiety or panic I will feel my pulse to register the speed and then could feel it slowing down to normal. Today during a oddly strange anxiety attack I felt my pulse and could hardly find it it was very faint.
Is this normal? Has anyone else ever had this type of symptom?
    Thanks for reading.

If it helps, it sounds like you were cold when you took your pulse. If either your wrist or your fingers (or both!) were cold at the time, it can make finding a pulse more difficult, and also in cold weather our blood flow tends to move towards our essential organs to keep them warm.
