    Hi everyone!

Many thanks for all the postive comments and thoughts - much appreciated

Well, first day over with and you won't be surprised to hear I am totally cream crackered. I chose a busy day to return to work as we moved half of the ICU I work in (8 out 15 beds) to another area so renovations can start in the old part.

I spent 6 hours at work, and despite being very nervous (and a bit sweaty!...) when I walked throught he door I was welcomed back by everyone I met and the time flew by - I only planned to spend 4 hours at work today.

So, back again on Wednesday and Friday. I don't feel as apprehensive as I did, but it was just one day and I think I'll need to take each day as it comes.

I also realised today that last Friday was the 20th anniversary of my starting work in critical care nursing - well I guess I mst be doing something right then!

    Tomorrow I'm having a quiet day! [8D]

    Take care.

    Chris xx

    Hi Chris,

So glad to hear your first day went so well. I'm also glad to hear you have support at work if you need it. Wow 20 years is a long time and your career is so valuable so glad you have hung in there. Good luck.

    Belxx
