Hi everyone,
Just hope someone might be able to help. I had a doc's appointment on Friday. I went because I was a bit concerned about some of the symptoms i've been feeling since increasing my dose to 100mg sertraline three weeks ago - I'm also on 100mg of pregabalin.
Basically i've been having really intense muscle pain all over my legs, it almost feel like my bones are aching and in pain. And there's a really awful feeling of restlessness as well.
She wasn't much help - she said she never heard of anxiety causing legs symptoms like I have and that it was "up to me" if I wanted to reduce the sertraline dose back to 50mg. So i've reduced to 75mg for a few days to see how that goes.
Then when I asked her about whether I should also taper down the dose of pregabalin - she said you don't need to taper pregabalin, it's just like a painkiller which you can take whenever you need to and stop when you don't. Is that true??
Thanks guys, i'm just not feeling much trust in that GP right now
Ryan
