    Hi everyone,
Just thought this may be of interest. This Thursday BBC2 at 8pm, The Truth About Food investigates the role of omega 3s (especially in oily fish) in reducing stress levels.

Thank you for all the info about omega 3. I understand it must be taken lifelong and in such megadosis 3 x 3 = 9000 mg /day. I take only 1 / day and I get low pressure so I think I have to read a little more about omega 3. Anyway thanks, pls keep us updated. Hugs, Cristi

    Hi everyone,

Just to point out that the recommended intake to fight anxiety is up to 1200mg of EPA/day, not of fish oil as that can have varying amounts of EPA. A 1000mg capsule from Tescos, for example, only contains 180mg of EPA so hence the taking a 9-12 capsules per day. Although that may sound a lot it's only equivalent to a portion and a bit of fish per day.

Hi, I've been on all those drugs and Omega 3 was fine with them, still is in the case of Mirtazapine and Diazepam. I didn't get on with Propranolol
