Glucose level 4.9 help!

I just went to th er yesterday and right before i had my blood test i had a donut, i ate the donut at around 6:45 pm and the test was at 7. Doctor said it was fine to eat. I had two slices of pizza at 2:30 pm. My glucose level wasa 4.9 which he said was normal. But shouldnt it have been much higher since i ate donut? Im worried i am hypoglycemic

No 4.9 is great I can have huge meal and be about 4/5 and that's not the end of the world.
Can make me feel a bit squiffy LOL

yeah I was just worried because it said anywhere between 4 and 7 is normal but I was worried cause I was on the low end :( so what your saying is that if I ate a meal I would have been higher and more towards the 5.5 range. Okay im content. Health anxiety.....im telling yaa its the worst!!

Well mine can be between 4\5 after cooked breakfast and small bag malteasers LOL that's when I realised it can be low.

4.9 totally normal

I was told 4.0 and under is a hypo and you should eat. My lowest was 2.5 once, I've felt worse around 3-4 though. Not even getting low now though, was 6.8 in morning before breakfast need to start exercising again.

Between 4 and 8 is considered normal. I'm a medic so I know that for a fact. Nothing to worry about with your recent readings
