my doctor has prescribed me this.does anyone else take it and are there alot of side effects and do they work?

Hi Im on citalopram.I had side affects for two weeks,but stayed on them.The side affects went off after that.I feel better in myself.They work for some people and not others.You have to give them a try.They do take a while to kick in.
