    Question Buttercup cough syrup

    Good evening everyone, just a quick question. I have a terrible cough that is keeping me awake of a night time and I was just wondering if it would be ok to take buttercup cough syrup as I am taking Citalopram. Thank you in advance

    Buttercup syrup is a herbal product and does not contain dextromethorphan. There are no known interactions between buttercup syrup and citalopram. It does contain a small amount of alcohol so may make you a little sleepy.
