Anti-depressant to give you a boost....ideas please

Hi there,

I always tired, to the point of exhaustion.......mainly due to depression, but also some medication effects.

Ive tried reducing my pregabalin, but its finely balanced....so I want to look at my antidepressant.

Does anyone have experience with an anti depressant that gives you a boost, so im not so tired all the time.

Sorry to hear you are so tired. I am the same, and was told I have chronic fatigue last year. I know this is an almost impossible diagnosis but have the doctors ruled that out? Also have they checked your thyroid function?

When I was told I had Chronic Fatigue, the specialist recommended an AD called Duloxetine to, quote, "Give me an energy boost" - unfortunately that has not been the case with me (I'd give anything to have some energy!! Constantly feel lethargic and slow) but I have heard from other people who say good things about it.
