    food for thought

As some of you may remember, i had blood tests done to see if I have any food intollerances, the results came back positive towards "Yeast".
It is not the same as the candida diet, I have a proper "Ige" reaction to it in my blood.

So for the past 8 weeks, ive been on a yeast avoidance diet..

    avoiding......

    Bread/vinegar/mushrooms/wine/beer/sauces that contain vinegar.
Also am allowed a little bit of sugar (basically half of what i used to).
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Results; Well unfortunately , my dermatitis has improved only by 40%, I was hoping it would go altogether.
My panic attacks seem to of really improved , id say by 90% which is amazing. Ive been frightened to mention it ,just incase Im tempting fate, but so far so good.
My energy levels have really improved, im managing to do alot more and my moods have lifted.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Now the interesting bit,
last night we had fish and chips, and by accident, i had vinegar put on my chips[:O] so I thought , oh im sure a blip in my diet wont hurt.
2 hours later, I went to bed and OMG had palpatations, I sat in bed thinking whats caused this? then realised....the vinegar!!!
I am totally convinced now, no doubt in my mind.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since giving up yeast, ive managed things i could do before,....
I went on a bus this week, I went shopping down the town on my own,
Ive done the school run without problems,,, but as always Im scared the panic will come back to jump me. Im too worried to celebrate but am enjoying it.

Mirry I am just wondering if you have ever tried Udo's choice oil for your dermatitis???

I am a great fan of Dr Udo - I once went to a nutritionist and she was thrilled I was already consuming it, as she said it's the finest oil you can buy (flipping expensive though). I actually bought it cos its good for you generally and it helps to have omegas in your system to help balance anxiety and depression. A knock on effect that I didn't expect was though how soft my skin became and the young lad in the health food shop takes it regularly to help with his acne. It must do something positive to our skin so I am wondering if that might be worth trying - it seems to balance your skin whether its oily or dry.

Have a look on the internet under Udo's Choice or Dr Udo Erasmus.

I can't always afford a bottle every month but I do get it when I can - and it tastes lovely on salads or pasta/rice dishes but you don't cook with it or it would spoil!

wow Piglet, never heard of it ?
I got dermatitis on my scalp, it flares up and down and sometimes causes a dandruff. I get on prescription Oilatum shampoo, but t then using that dries my hair out. Its like I cant win.

I will look out for it, how much did you pay for yours ?

my face looks red today, must be them strong winds :( ,lol.

Its about 8.95 a bottle - it does also come in capsules if you prefer but I love the taste so it's no prob for me. It will be in the fridge section of the health food shop!!

Have a read and see if you think you might benefit from it!

"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.
