another kava question!

Hi all,

I've just received some kava kava that I ordered online. Can anyone tell me how long it should take to work?

Should it work straight away or do you have to take it over a period of time?

Any advice would be very much appreciated as I'm starting a new job in a couple of weeks!

I have never dared take it though I have heard it is good.

Probably a week at least I would have thought.

Hi Heather,
I find that they work straightaway.When I first used them I took 1 3 times a day for a couple of days and didnt need to use them again for a while. Last time I had an 'episode' I only needed to take 1 to calm me down. I wouldnt advise anyone to use them on a daily basis, only as a last resort. I think they are as good as diazepam.

can i ask about kava kava the last time i suffered with panick and anxiety that is what i used and gradually managed to get myself better but i havent dared get any more because i thought they had been banned in england?
