Thread: Vitamin B1, Gingko Biloba and L-glutamine

Smile Vitamin B1, Gingko Biloba and L-glutamine

I've been doing some research on increasing GABA to cure my panic attacks as I'm reluctant to go on anti-depressants again. I'm not depressed, I'm anxious, but my doctor doesn't seem to appreciate the difference and I can't fathom how serotonin is the option.

So I've started to take some supplements I had around the house (I used to work in Holland and Barrett); Vitamin B1, Gingko Biloba, L-glutamine and drinking green tea for the L-theanine. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any good/bad experiences with any of the above in terms of helping anxiety symptoms? Or tried something similar i.e. raising GABA levels?

It's early days but I'll keep updating with the progress.

Somebody told me about L-Theanine .. I have not tried it myself yet, but thought about it during my periods because I get so depressed, irritable, and anxious. I haven't done it yet though! I think there were a few people on here who tried it but I cannot remember who!
