    deep breathing exercise

    hello all

well here i am at home, trying to deal with my anxiety and i have been reading about the importance of making sure you breathe properly as anxiety sufferers tend to start breathing more shallowly etc etc..

anyway so i bought his herbal tea called breathe deep tea and it has this yoga exercise on the packet, very simple and i tried it earlier, it it felt good, so here goes:

"stand up straight with legs about shoulder width apart.
raise your arms up straight ovre yr head with palms together.
lean back slightly ( b carful of your back here) keep your head alighned with the spine and begin a long deep pwerful breath through the nostrils.
    breathe deeply from the diaphragm.
stretch your chest capacity & feel your lungs expand and stregthen.
do this a few mins every day and feel great!"

(obviosly if you have breathing probs etc ask your doc 1st)

    peace, oshun
