Hello. I'm a bit unsure about things right now and also slightly worried. I have been having problems with my urethra for about a year now. It feels like I have symptoms of a water infection a lot of the time so I hand in urine samples to the doctors and they dip test it. I took one in today and it came back negative as always. But, because I'm on penicillin at the moment I wondered if it affected the results. So I had to ring back to see what the doctor said. I rung back, still hadn't sorted it, rung when they told me too again and nothing. Rung when they told me to again and nothing. Finally, the doctor didn't even answer my question it just said in the notes something about tonsillitis (which I'm getting rid of) and my question wasn't even about that? So I told the receptionist who told me and she said it probably wouldn't affect it. But I'm so annoyed and anxious from it. I'm tempted to Google but I know I'll probably frighten myself. So can anyone help? as in, do they know whether it would affect it at all?
