does anyone know how or if I can change the colour/brightness of the background etc when im on the forum ?
im finding the colours hard to cope with especially in the evening when the light is dimming and im getting tired.

It is a function of your laptop/PC that you need to change and adjust the brightness
I can't say how to do it on yours but on mine you press the "Fn" key and then F5 or F6 to go brighter or dimmer

In a Mac it is f1/f2 for the screen and f5/f6 for the keys.

My Mac comes with automatic adjustment to light conditions. It cost more than low end PCs though, so I suppose that is why. High end PCs probably already have it.
