I don't know Terry, there is a lot of sugar farms and know there are Taipans,they are in the top 5 deadly snakes, I know people that have had the slippery suckers inside their home.

Them Taipans are big & quick too from when I've seen them on documentaries. The inland variety are only in non populated areas from what I saw.

My dad was a landscape gardener. Whenever we watch a wildlife doc on Australia I joke about how different his job would have been looking out for snakes & spiders. I guess it's just normal life to you guys but it's so strange to people like us who have very few wildlife dangers. We're getting more sharks now that cause a stir which would be a meh to you guys.

The most poisonous reptiles we have all sit in the Houses of Parliament.

Yep,we have those slippery suckers in our Parliament too.I know a 1 eyed trouser snake,he is on the back bench a real piece of work.
