Hi,
From what I've read when you change your dosage you will feel some side effects again as it's changing your levels of serotonin again.
For me when I was taking 10mg for a while I started to feel better and then took a massive crash again after two weeks on 10mg. It seems as though your body will react differently when it's taking on the tablets, but from what I'm told it does get better and slow down in time.
I hope you start to feel better soon
I've gone from 20, to 30 and finally to 40 over the past couple of months. Side-effects can be a problem (and have been for me) - increased anxiety, nausea, etc. However I think and hope that I'm over the worst of them now. Anxiety is more manageable and no nausea, so my diet and food intake has improved.
Stick with it.
The Truth Points to Itself
I started out on 10mg of Celexa(generic form Cit) only for a few days and then went up to 20mg. It had been just a few days over 6 weeks of being on the meds and I woke up with bad nausea and stomach queeziness, the feeling of having to throw up all the time and really tired. Not sure why, but it seemed I either have a bug or my medication was going in reverse. So I got ahold of my doctor and she upped me to 40mg a day, which has made the nausea even worse now the last couple days on the higher dose. Just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing. I was starting to feel so much better, than I woke up 3 days ago feeling awful and had to up my dosage.
How is everyone feeling so far? I might be going on this med tomorrow but just want to see how other people are handling it.
