Is this normal??

I am 45..had period 2 weeks ago..went to loo y/day..was pinkish/red on toiliet tissue..today blood bit darker..urine still tinged with blood..did a urine test at work as i work at hospital..there was leucocytes and blood in..i have no other symptoms at all..i will go to drs next week if it continues but i just want to is this normal..im convinced its serious..please assure me somebody..

I would say you probably have a UTI which your Dr will treat with antibots, possibly caused by erm you know what hope you feel better.

Thankyou alexandria uk..it just sends you into a tizzy when you see blood..you never just think oh it a u.t.i..its always cancer..it just bizarre as i have no other symptoms apart from cloudy bloody urine xx

It def sounds like a uti, i suffer with them quite alot, i would go and get it checked with you Gp asap so you can start appropriate treatment before it gets worse XX

Thankyou nicola1980..i am goi g through alot of stress at mo due to split from partner so not been eating and drinking much..might have something to do with it xx
