    Hi tom, I've always had to take my ven with food due to it causing nausea but I can't eat in the mornings much either so I just have half a rich tea biscuit with my morning cuppa then take it XX

    I have been taking 150mg/day Pfizer's Efexor XL (their UK brand name for the original Venlafaxine extended release formulation) for over a year now. I have noticed considerably less side effects (manly dry eye) compared to the generic Venlalic hard tablet. Of course everyone is different, however if anyone is experiencing issues with generic Venlafaxine, I would urge them them to try the original Efexor XL/XR formulation, as the generics are not always the same,
