Why do I randomly panic about my intrusive thoughts?

So I get this one really weird intrusive thought and it's been going on for about 3 months now (my life has been HELL) but what happens is I'll worry massively about it for weeks, then it goes away for like 2 weeks, then comes back for another week and goes away again.

Like I don't know what that means, I'll be totally fine with the thought and be like "Oh my god that was so silly, it was obviously not true" but then have a panic attack about it a week later.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Negative thought goes to Amygdala, your fear centre, positive thought bypasses it. That simple. It is not there unless you ask it.
