Anyone taking Sertraline (Lustral) for their OCD?

I am on 100mg and have been on Sertraline for 3 weeks now, havent noticed any difference in my OCD yet, is anyone taking this med and had any success? the doctor wanted to try me on this before referring me to CBT.

Sorry. I have never heard of it. Have you ever tried Paxil? It worked wonders for me.

no i havent tried Paxil, do you have any bad side effects with it? has your ocd disappeared completely?

Oh my Land. I am so sorry that it took me so long to respond. I have been traveling, and very busy. My OCD has not completely disappeared. But I'll tell ya...Instead of it consuming 8 hours of my day, it is now at about 20 min. Now, remember that everybody is different. But I do merely suffer from pure "O," and it has helped so much. Please let me know if you decide to try it. I'd like to talk more about once you start it.
