    venlafaxine and fatigue

hey guys i recently went up to 225mg per day XR version.
i take venlafaxine for one year now and since i started it
i feel tired, lack of energy, fatigue, and need approx 12 hours
per day of sleep in order to be able to get up.
anybody else had these kind of side effects aswell??
doc said it might be because of the anxiety.
dunno what to say i feel tired all the time.
even when i wake up, im still tired.
another problem is that i cant keep the same sleeping patters.
every day i wake up later, and go to sleep later.
for example if at monday i'll wake up at 8am
the next day i will wake up 2 hours later. and so on.
    this goes everyday.

    Hiya!

You may find you'll need to use an alarm clock to make sure you are up early enough to take that bit if extra time to have a cup of tea and maybe have something just light, like a piece of toast or some fruit on waking. I find I have to work with an alarm clock to get up at 8 or so. I'm always glad I did! Makes for a more relaxed start to my day.

And here's another tip: I used to always feel exhaustion during the day, until I switched to taking my ven at night when I went to bed. Since I have been doing that, I have normal energy, however I do need to keep moving. Sultry weather and lack of exercise make me sleepy, so I try to get out and about.

At the dose you are now on, there will be more activating effects, do try to make the most of them! Good luck
