Sertraline 50mg

Hi, I'm on week 4 of taking 50mg sertraline, I am feeling better with my anxiety but still feel anxious in the mornings. Do others find mornings hard?

Reading other people's comments it seems 4 weeks is still early days, just want to feel my old self

4 weeks is a bit early yet.
Give it another 2 weeks or so.
Sert seems to take a bit longer than others to work but when it does it seems pretty good
I'm on about the third month of 50mg

Thanks phill2, I'm am starting to feel calmer so I guess they are beginning to work. I took cipramil for 16 years and they stopped working, hope these will do the trick ��

I took Lexapro for 5 yrs and went off them for another 5.
They were much easier to get started on but since having a heart attack they said Sert was more suitable.

Week 4 is still early days, but it's good that you are feeling some effect from the sertraline

I really turned a corner at about week 8-9

Hi Tb, morning anxiety was the last thing to go but after 5-6 weeks it go much better

Feeling a bit anxious today as I had to rush to the dentist and ended up feeling hot when I got there which made me feel anxious. I have always felt anxious about the symptoms of anxiety....particularly feeling hot ��

Hoping this is just a little blip as I thought I was staring to improve.

I'm at the start of six weeks of taking sertraline.

Things should start to settle down very soon.
I found it was around the 6 - 8 weeks mark that things improved immensely

Just when you think you're feeling better you get a set back and you just cannot stop focusing on the 10mins you felt anxious. Need to move on and forget.
