Just thought i,d mention this, if your like me and think about your problems 24/7 audio books are a good way of getting out of your own head. Even if you can't focus to begin with, keep going.

Good advice
Nice, agreed. I like podcasts too and there are lots for free!
I've never tried them, but I have used various guided audio methods and found the same. Aside from distraction, they can also get you to focus on something else too like in guided meditation or visualisation. This is good as Mindfulness teaches this to a deep level so learning any ways to focus properly will help as I really think we have lost our ability to truly focus in favour of this panicked half focussing we do on symptoms.
I find reading books a good distraction too.

Yes they are good for a complete step away from anything anxiety related. I found reading almost impossible to begin with especially an actual book. My therapist said that it's hard for an anxious brain to read an actual book sometimes as you can see how far you have left and how many words to the next page etc but reading on a phone or kindle gives it to you in much smaller chunks.
I listen to them with the audible app on my phone, perfect when driving.
