Colour of bowel movement

I had a very bad stomach 2 weeks ago. Everything came out like water but for the past week (since I've been eating again) my stools have just been really orange and green and still not exactly solid. Very soft but not diahrea anymore. I've not been eating anything green or orange really and it shouldn't really come out the same colour it goes in right? Lol. Anybody had anything similar???

Ps. I was drinking a lot of alcohol which is what caused my stomach problem 2 weeks ago. Always had iffy bowels, but never for 2 weeks straight before.

Why not quit drinking for a few weeks, eat properly and see if it improves?

I am trying not to. Just had another that was very pale. Doesn't help I've felt poorly alongside this for 2 weeks.

Well, it's still orange. Throughout my life it's always changed on the daily though though. My bowels seem to be here there and everywhere and always have been. It's just odd that it's decided to stay THIS colour and consistency for well over a week now. I hope I can put it down to the alcohol and anxiety also.

Anxiety causes alsorts of problems with bowel habbits.... when I am particularly stressed it is like Poo Roulette in colour, consistency and how much I go

Yeah, makes sense. It's just weird to see yourself going from Orange to green in a matter of hours

My poop is often orange like. The doctor told me its because it is being passed through my bowel too quickly and not absorbing enough digestive juices. Nothing to worry about. Stress, anxiety, tummy bug etc can all cause it. One minute my poop would be normal dark brown then I would get anxious and a few hours later it would be orange.

The doctor told me only to worry about poop colour if its jet black or red, anything else in between is fine apparently...just a little different to look at!

I too suffer with my bowels when I'm stressed, anxious or have been drinking alcohol. When I'm on an even keel my bowels return to normal. I am currently in a heightened state of anxiety which has really affected my bowels and appetite. If ur not anxious my advice would be to visit your GP as it could be something as simple as a bug x
