    Is panic making me ill?

    Hi guys

Haven't posted in a while, being doing 'not too bad' lately.
    UNTIL TODAY.
I'm 20 wks pregnant now and the last couple of days have had 2 really bad nosebleeds that sort of came from nowhere (1 was while I was asleep). This is my 4th baby and I've never had them that bad before.
I also keep coming up in rashes - last night it was over the backs of my hands and wrists, in patches on my legs, and all over my belly.

And today I just feel awful - really sick and dizzy.

Do you think the panicking is making me feel ill? - I don't feel like I'm going to have an attack, just have this awful feeling of dread.

    Any replies more than welcome!

    Hi Carly.
I think you should pop to see your Dr. It sounds like you need a check up, maybe your blood pressure is high? You shouldnt be getting nose bleeds like that anyway. I wonder if you are feeling anxious because you are not feeling too good with your pregnancy. You know how it is, you feel a bit under the weather, and bang. Here we go with the panic again. Just make sure you go see your DR, and hopefully this will put your mind at rest. Let us know. x

    Thanks for your replies,

Blood pressure was my main fear, cos of course then you start worrying about pre eclampsia, etc, but mine is usually on the low side at around 100/50 ish.
But I spoke to 2 midwives yesterday and both were quite adamant it wouldn't be blood pressure, so who knows? The thing is, when I get it checked it's always in the morning when I've hardly eaten (or gotten stressed yet!) so maybe it does shoot up later on? Anyway one of them was checking my blood results and found iron was a bit low but then her computer crashed! Typical!
Anyway got a midwife appointment at 1.15 today, so I'm purposely going shopping just before - see what my BP is like then!

    Thanks again for your replies.xx

    Hiya Carly

I suffer from quite alot of nose bleeds and its cos i have quite high levels of progesterone in my blood i am actually having them quite bad at the moment because im recovering from surgery for an eptopic pregnancy the doc assures me its just down to hormones yours might be the same it could be worth asking your doc.

    Hope this helps
