    Anybody read Feeling Good by David Burns?

    i picked this book up today and so far it is great, basically about how our thoughts create our feelings and all the different thought distortions there are in depressed people..its crazy how many toxic thoughts i find myself generating and how distorted they are! really makes me stop and think about the things i tell myself

    I've not seen or read it but it sounds very CBT like. Distortions for instance are part of CBT, known as Cognitive Distortions, and these are very important as they you to understand how your automatic thinking styles feed your anxiety so much. I think they are a big part of recovery since you want to stop them eating away at you and causing future relapse.
