5 HTP - Success Stories

Just wondering if anyone has any successfully used 5 HTP to treat anxiety.

I've just started taking it......I'm on 50mgs (I had taken 200mgs yesterday as I'd been told that 50mgs wouldn't work .. and I had some serious side effects .... ).

Did anyone have and start up side effects ?

I have just sent for some from Amazon but will probs take 50mg not any higher till I see how it makes me feel but I have a very high tolerance to most drugs.

Hi Shelley are you still on this? I've taken 100mg for the first time today and feel ok so far. Still anxious though but sleepy.

I've tried it but I haven't had any side effects with it. Are you taking any other medications? It's been said that there are some meds that when interacted with 5 HTP may have serious effects. I suggest you consult your clinician about his issue.
