    Re message from my" name is Terry" a while ago.

    Hello Terry. You did a message a while ago re: putting up "Ven" and it
    altering the symptems. I have gone up from 150mg plus another 37.5mg.
    This was four weeks ago. Have really not felt well since and been more
    anxiety. would you imagine it is the pills or am I just got more anxious.
    I appreciate all of your messages. You are so informative. Thankyou so much.

    Thanks, I really appreciate that.

    Yes, once you reach certain does on SNRI's it starts to interact with the adrenaline, prior to that it's just like a SSRI so is working on our serotonin receptors. So, early on the side effects are like SSRI's too but I found when I reached the adrenaline level dose of mine, Duloxetine, it started to give me different side effects than I had at the SSRI dose or on another SSRI in the past. This was namely aggitation and increased anxiety and not being able to sit down for hours earlier on in the day.

    This is pretty typical of increased levels of adrenaline and whilst you can also experience this with anxiety, if you have just increased I would put it down to the SNRI until you are out of the side effect window. So, I don't think you should judge it as increased anxiety until you are beyond that window.

    It would be a good idea to post something on the Ven board where you were before as they are very supportive and will understand how you are feeling going through this.
