Dizziness after increasing dosage

Hi guys. I've had my dosage upped from 37.5mg twice daily to 75mg. In the last 2 weeks or so I've felt very shaky and off-balance. I haven't actually fallen over or anything, but I just feel off-kilter.

I can see that dizziness is a "rare" side-effect of Venlafaxine but has anyone else experienced it?

Oh, sure, I have. And head tingles at higher doses the first few days. Are you taking one 75 mg per day now, and is it the extended release type? I find taking my dose at bedtime helps to allay side effects, as I mostly seem to sleep through them, lol!

There are lots of threads here which describe normal side effects with Effexor/venlaxafine, and some suggestions on easing them. The first while when I was going through increases, I would sit and read them and drink lots of water. Nibble snacks and have small meals. Take it easy, for the most part.

Same here but it will calm down after a few days.

It's such an unpleasant process but hopefully sh ok I'll be worthwhile!
