Dudley Moore: Do you feel you've learnt by your mistakes here?
Peter Cook: I think I have, yes, and I think I can probably repeat them almost perfectly.
Just been to see Stan and Ollie, didn't know what to expect but I thought comedy , instead it was a very moving film about laurel and Hardy's later years and the bond between them , funny and sad , I used to watch them as a kid and Coogan and Reilly did them justice , really enjoyed it , 10/10 from me .
Wes Andersons Isle of Dogs
Out there but brilliant film 10/10

Always loved John Carpenter's films so re watched a few recently:
Escape From New York
Escape From LA
They Live
Assault On Precinct 13
Ghosts Of Mars
Still good movies and many are getting on a bit.

I always like Escape from New York. The LA one was a bit of a let down after it I thought.
I agree. I remember seeing LA when it came out at the cinema with my mates when I was younger. We all said the same. It was too close to the original that it felt like either it was for the hardcore fans or just to make money without much effort. Now Hollywood has done so many of these reboots it's obvious it's more the latter.
We still had a moody Snake though.
"Call me Snake"
"No thanks, people might get the wrong impression about our relationship"

against my better judgement, went with Wifey to see Mary Poppins Returns
well, they did a good job, especially like the BMX & Parkour, some more memorable tunes and the Actor playing Jack was very good in it
