Black Fish on Netflix--9/10. All about the Orcas at Sea World and their mistreatment and how they sometimes attack/kill trainers. Not a happy documentary, but a very eye-opening one. I was never a fan of Sea World, but I can honestly say that now I hate that place. Beautiful, intelligent, majestic creatures kept in tiny paddling pools, basically. So very, very sad. They are depressed and bored and it's no wonder they lash out.

Inception 9/10-- My second time watching this one. I enjoyed it a lot more this time around, as the first time I saw it in the theater, I was a bit confused.

Everything is Illuminated a 2005 film with Elijah Wood...a solid 8/10 but the best quote about a guide dog

"This is Sammy Davis Jr. Jr... She is Grandfather's Seeing Eye bitch. Father purchased her for him not because he believes Grandfather is blind, but because a Seeing Eye bitch is also a good thing for people who pine for the opposite of loneliness. In truth, Father did not purchase her at all, but merely retrieved her from the home for forgetful dogs. Because of this, she is not a real Seeing Eye bitch, and is also mentally deranged."

last night I watched 'The Rack Pack' on BBC iPlayer with my son

It was absolutely brilliant, all about the rivalry between Alex H Higgins and Steve Davis, great fun, great performances apart from Barry Hearn who is far too comic book, the 'Snooker Loopy' recording even gets its moment !!!

I've just seen Zoolander 2 today. Not entirely sure what I'd rate it, but Benedict Cumberbatch's role in it made my year, so that on its own gets 10/10 :P

All of the things. He was amazing in the film, but he's amazing in general so, there's that.

Also recently seen The Danish Girl and Room, both of which I would highly recommend. I cried so much with both of them but it was good crying.

    The Prisoner - 6/10

It got pretty obvious towards the end. I don't think the writing was great, the one who escaped was flipped around but really just glossed over and no ramifications for the other family being a party to torture. If Jake G's brief was to act as sombre as possible without hardly any facial expressions, he nailed it!
