    Twitch in face :(

I've had a twitch in my muscle on my cheekbone for 3 days and now I'm so scared it is a symptom of something serious :'(. Anyone know what it could be? I had surgery which affected my nerves behind my ear 2 years ago but not had any problems. I have also been stressed and worked a lot recently .... Wondered if maybe this could be why? Any insight in to what 'cheek' muscle twitching could mean would be MUCH appreciated!!

Answers to your question are in your own post.

Do yourself a favour and don't google muscle twitching. It is an absolutely 100% normal, common symptom for stress and anxiety sufferers, and even for your average person.

I've been twitching all over for 4 months and I'm still here!

I wouldn't worry about that as FeelLikeNeo said its a common thing for someone who suffers with anxiety and or stress. I have recently got rid of a light twitch in my left eye that had been happening for 3 months. It was due to me not getting good enough sleep and also being so stressed all the time from the lack of sleep and HA.

    Peace

I get things like this often, and they last days and days. Then go for a week, and then come back lol. Totally normal

If it helps there is no logical reason that twitching muscles would be related to sensory loss!

Just take a bath, it's likely to be from strain in your neck muscles.

I've recently started on citalopram and it has changed the pattern of my twitches (which were way worse and more widespread than yours) already after 3 days. Very likely to be anxiety.
