Could anyone tell me if blood tests for pancreatic problems are reliable? I am having pain and have had blood tests done for pancreas and liver which were normal. I can't help but stress about this at the moment. My doctor seems to rely heavily on blood tests and I am not sure if I am convinced that they are that reliable, this is probably my HA talking but thought I would ask the question. Thanks.

When my mother had pancreatitis and eventually diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, her blood tests were all over the place abnormal.
